Happy Holidays
It’s hard to believe it’s almost the end of this crazy year
A brand new year , a blank new episode in our lives as 2021 gets closer .
Is just a matter of turning a page on the calendar but the mindset is nice and fresh .
New Year , New Goal , New Hopes, New Dreams and Brand New Mindset.
It’s been really tough for some of us but I know personally I have learned a lot from this time of isolation. I was actually quite happy for the first while . It was like an adventure . I kept busy with Yoga , Meditation, And Writing practices for my sanity . Now it’s like I’m just waiting it out like most people .
So for the very last article of 2020 I’m going to touch upon some positives from the Young and The Restless
Toxic Adam is magically cured . I guess all the Young Adam and one day in NotFairview cured him of all his shenanigans . He seems to be magically sane and Sharon is out of his system , for now anyway .
It’s nice to see Adam in caring mode taking care of Chelsea instead of himself for a change . Wishing all the best to Chelsea as an aneurism can turn into a stroke and be life threatening . Hoping for the best .
Billy Boy Abbott is out of jail and is embarking on a new relationship with Lily, however that may go. He says he feels differently so maybe he has learned something from his recent experience . He is sure going all out to please her .
We saw a glimpse of the kids Johnny & Katie who have grown and gratefully not sorased . Hopefully we’ll see Connor & Christian very soon as well .
Summer & Kyle are finally back together and very much in love . Let’s hope Sally doesn’t put a wrench in that . Sally should go big against Phyllis not Summer . Show us watch you got , Sally
Teenage Johnny was perfect casting . Looks like all the Billys combined . If they do decide to age the kids , he’s the perfect recast .
We lost Theo but got Sally who is practically the female version of him. Time will tell if it’s worth it . Theo was much loved . Maybe his dealings in Paris will become a part of the GC landscape in the future .
Nate and Elena seem like great friends . Hopefully they won’t ruin that by putting them together again . It caused almost irreparable damage the first and last time . We all know Elena and Devon are end game aren’t they ?
It’s really nice to see Lauren and Michael again albeit not necessarily together .
Sharon’s cancer is in pretty much gone and she and Rey will be starting a new life together very soon .
It was wonderful seeing grown up Delia again .
The who shot Chance story is over without any drama good or bad . Almost like it was a bad dream .
We might get an actual scene with Tessa at the wedding . Fingers crossed . Isn’t she part of a couple ?
Tiger Lily is back strong and secure . She’s a take no nonsense woman that is finally able to live her own life . So happy to see this manifest . Billy’s ride or die . She and Amanda seem to have a real trust between them . There are so few friendships on this show that it’s great to see . I only hope Elena can be added to the mix .
Jill mentioned Philip in her conversation with Chance . Since he couldn’t be at the wedding how amazing would it be to see Billy’s other brother on screen again !
Regardless of the storylines the individual dialogues and the acting has been off the charts . What a great ensemble . Kudos to all the actors .
The preview for Christmas week looks like fun . Everyone seems happy and I know it’s a dream but Elena and Devon look so happy together again.
Nick and Phyllis have such great smiles . They all do . Gives me so much hope for the future .
Amanda finding her mother touches my heart . She will finally know who she is although she certainly has done a great job without caring ,until a couple months ago . I guess Devon will be there to share in his sister-in-law’s joy.
Billy and Adam both seem to be on the path to righteousness . Wonder who will screw up first . Is it possible they could join forces to bring an actual bad guy down ? Are we even ready for this kind of story ?
How great is all this ?
Well it’s not like winning a million dollars but that’s what 2020 was all about , wasn’t it ?
